Enforex Program Overview: For the past 16 years ENFOREX has offered Residential and Day Camp Spanish Language Camp for Teenagers in Spain. These programs are specifically designed for young students who want to spend a unique summer in Spain.
Designed for both Spanish and international students between 5 and 18 years of age, Enforex Spanish Language and Sports Camp for Teenagers in Spain offer a unique, international environment. This international program provides an environment where learning a language (with 3 hours of Spanish lessons per day), and the inevitable cultural interchange enriches the experiences of each of our students. More than 20% of the students are Spanish nationals participating in English classes but them mixing with the foreign students for the cultural program and activities. The remaining participants come from over 32 foreign countries around the world.
From the beginning we have selected only the most prestigious private school facilities and the best professionals in order to offer a selection of quality programs that are intensive, encourage participation and are highly interesting in content and methodology. Year after year thousands of youngsters from all over the world have come to Enforex with the objective to spend a healthy, educational and enjoyable time.
Our carefully selected staff present both course content and the other activities in an active and interesting manner. Always alert to the changing interests of the various age groups, and taking into account new developments in teaching/learning methodologies, our staff work towards a goal of building friendships between our participants and an active, secure participation in all the activities offered. Language classes, cultural and entertainment excursions, sports, workshops, parties, barbecues, contests, cultural presentations, ´Olympics´ and other activities are offered with the idea of making the students’ experience at Enfocamp unforgettable. Both our Spanish and international students are immersed 24-hours a day in a unique, culturally-diverse learning environment. Students from such countries as the United States, England, Italy, Germany, Russia, Ireland, Belgium, Japan, Holland, France, Poland and the Ukraine ,among others, share their customs and traditions helping to enrich the scheduled program. This personal enrichment is possible thanks to our continually evolving programs; the spirit of our educational philosophy is continually updated by our team of educators, coaches and administrators.
The Enfocamp Spanish Summer Camp in Barcelona takes place in the Barcelona suburb of Castelldefels. This camp embodies the best of two worlds, allowing students to split their time between the calm, natural paradise of Castelldefels and the buzzing city of Barcelona, just a 15-minute train away. The camp is surrounded by nature, with the green rolling hills of Garraf Natural Park on one side and three miles of sandy beaches on the other.
The student residence is in the Mediterranean Park of the Barcelona University of Technology of Barcelona, which is set on the “Baix Llobregat” Campus of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. It is surrounded by nature and even has a lake, which makes it ideal for walking, reading and doing sports. This modern residence, with abundant common areas and gardens, boasts 200 rooms. In addition, it has several halls for activities and 24-hour security.
Enforex Spanish Language and Sports Camp – GENERAL INFORMATION:
- Accommodation: The students who participate in the residential program will stay in the residence dormitories, which consist of single or double rooms, all of which have a private bathroom. Dorm assignments will also be done by age group (see below)
- Student Age Groups:
- Group 1: from 5 to 9 years
- Group 2: from 9 to 14 years
- Spanish Lessons: 20 Spanish Lessons per week in small groups divided by language level.
- Activities and Sports: Daily sports, activities and cultural workshops are offered as well as one full day and two half day excursions every two weeks are included in the program (see details below)

Enforex – Full Residential camp prices include: Enforex registration fee, 20 Spanish lessons per week, accommodations on-site, 4 meals per day, health insurance, activities, excursions & sports (last day of program is 31 August!).
Enforex – Day Camp ONLY Option: Includes lessons, lunch and activities without accommodations (for students staying with family/friends in Barcelona) from 9:15 AM to 8:00 PM. Daily transportation from the center of Barcelona to and from camp is available at additional cost: USD 270 per 2 week period. Important: a minimum of 6 students is required for the shuttle to operate. Please check with us at the time of enrollment.
Enforex – Classes ONLY Option: Includes lessons only without activities, meals or accommodations (for students staying with family/friends in Barcelona) from 9:15 AM to 1:00 PM. Daily transportation from the center of Barcelona to and from camp is available at additional cost: USD 270 per 2 week period. Important: a minimum of 6 students is required for the shuttle to operate. Please check with us at the time of enrollment.
Barcelona Camp Starting Dates 2024: 30 June, 14 July, 28 July, 11 August and 25 August (one week only). Last day of program is 31 August.

Activities, Sports and Workshops offered at Enforex Camp:
The scheduling of activities is designed to ensure that the students learn and participate in as many sports activities, workshops and recreational activities as possible. The activities are always appropriate for each age level.
Sports
Sports activities may be of an individual, group or team nature.
Team sports:
Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Handball, Baseball, Water polo, Aerobics, Olympics, Capoeira, and many others.
Individual sports:
Swimming, Archery, Tennis (optional/extra cost), Badminton, Bowling, Paddleball, Darts, Hockey, Frisbee, Indiaca, Tennis Lessons (optional/extra cost), and others.
Optional Sports Available: Organized tennis lessons are offered at additional charge, see pricing above!
Recreational Activities
- Contests and Treasure hunts
- Party nights (costumed, talent show, scary themes)

Cultural Workshops
Workshop schedules will change daily. Every student may select those workshops that they enjoy the most. Each school will offer different workshops according to facilities and age groups. Some of the workshops may include:
Open Air Workshop
With this workshop, the students will come to know diverse aspects related to the natural world such as knot-making, nature tracking and ecological trails. At the same time one of the principal goals of the workshop is to teach students to respect the natural elements of their own environment.
Handicrafts Workshop
Participants can experiment with various materials and create works from such materials as clay, paper, threads and string and various other materials purchased for the workshops…recycled materials are used as well.
Cooking Workshop
The student’s first-steps into the culinary world are often helping to prepare a dish from their own country or tasting one from another student’s culture. Some of the recipes tried in the past include Mississippi Mud Pie (USA), Russian tea cakes and…to be sure…typical recipes from Spain’s numerous provinces including paella and Spanish tortilla or potato omelet.
Juggling Workshop
The objective of this workshop is that our students learn to create juggling balls, balancing plates and other objects.
Ballroom Dancing Workshop
The twin goals of this workshop are to develop the student’s sense of rhythm and body movement synchronized with different types of music. Traditional ballroom dance steps are alternated with Spanish music…both traditional and popular…as well as music from other countries.
Flamenco and Sevillanas Workshop
For those who don’t know how to dance typical Spanish dances, we believe that this is a great opportunity to begin.
Press Workshop
This workshop encourages students to create a newspaper that includes camp news and opinions, produced biweekly.
Theater Workshop
Campers will be able to perform their own or famous works recommended by our theater counselor. Students will also be able to participate in the selection of the work, make-up and costumes and set design.
Lifesaving Workshop
Fundamental lifesaving techniques are taught.
Music and Percussion Workshop
With this workshop, we will discover if students have a good musical ear and if they know to hold a beat with bongos, the Flamenco “cajon” or tambourine, the guitar, maracas and other instruments.
Excursions
A minimum of one all day and two half-day excursions are taken during each two week camp period.
Full day trips to either Sitges, Tarragona and other local towns with half-day trips scheduled to Park Güell, Tibidabo Amusement Park and Pueblo Español for example.
Spanish Language and Sports Camp – Additional information:
Permission to Leave the Grounds Unaccompanied: Permission to leave the grounds unaccompanied is available for students born on or before 1999. Must provide a notarized permission slip from parents/guardian. Parents take full responsibility for student’s welfare while participant is off-campus unaccompanied.
Optional Sports

One of the best times to continue developing the student´s sports skills and abilities is summer! Please note:
- Due to scheduling reasons, students who enroll in optional sports may not always be able to take part in other sports offered at the camp all of the time.
- As places for these optional sports are limited, we encourage the parents to register their child as soon as possible if interested.
- It is necessary that these spaces be reserved and paid at least two weeks in advance of the student´s arrival so as to accommodate those with reservations.
- Only one optional sport is available per two-week camp period.
- Once the student’s program has started it is not possible to enroll in or to cancel the optional sports options.
- Important: Sports options are NOT available for “Lessons Only” morning program participants.
Tennis:
12 hours per two-week camp period are scheduled. The course is designed for beginner through advanced students. Students receive their lessons on-site or at the sports facilities of the nearby university.
Soccer:
16 hours per two-week camp period are scheduled. The course is designed for all player levels. Students receive their lessons on-site or at the sports facilities of the nearby university.
One day at Enforex Camp:
Here is a timetable that tells you hour by hour how our classes are organized at Enfocamp, when we do activities and the meal times at our facilities, so that you can see how each day will play out. This is sure to give you the peace of mind that you need, knowing just what your child will be up to at every moment, and being able to check up on what they would be doing at certain times of day if you start to wonder while they are at the camp
Both our teachers and camp monitors put maximum effort into ensuring that there is never a dull moment for all of the children, whether they are young enough to be just starting school or old enough to be close to finishing it. From the moment they get up in the morning to when they go to sleep, there is so much to do and learn, and there is something new every day! Not only will they get a full schedule of lessons in the language that they have chosen to learn (Spanish for those who speak English natively, and English for the learners who have come from the local area), but they will also have an action packed schedule which is full of activities and will allow them to have a lot of fun all day long. They will have three solid meals a day as well as plenty of breaks, with enough time to fit in sports and other kinds of fun as well – and of course the time to get showered and cleaned up every day too. With set bed times and rising times, they will keep to a good schedule that allows them to get everything they need – learning, nutrition, fun, activity, more learning, hygiene, and rest.

NOTE: The mid-day meal is the principal meal in Spain and is taken later in the day than in some other countries. Also, the portions at mid-day are substantially larger than for the evening meal.
