CERAN LINGUA language centers, located in various countries worldwide, provide highly effective residential on-campus full immersion programs for both adults and young learners. The CERAN LINGUA French courses in Belgium are designed for motivated adults and professionals who need to learn a language as quickly and efficiently as possible. The 66 hours per week of complete French language immersion along with a highly personalized approach to French language training and the CERAN LINGUA methodology will ensure that you make the maximum progress in the minimum amount of time!
Every day from 8 am to 10.30 pm you can concentrate on a single objective: progressing, daring to communicate and expressing yourself freely in the target language – Living in the target language. All programs consist of nine French learning activities, each lasting 45 minutes, five days a week. These structured and systematic learning sessions are complemented by a great variety of opportunities for practicing the language during breaks, meals and evening sessions led by our trainers. This approach ensures that you consolidate your knowledge and gain real communication skills that take full account of the cultural dimension of learning a foreign language. All in all, this adds up to at least 35 hours of French lessons per week, reinforced by a further 35 hours of practice supervised by our trainers, learning how to “be” and “do”, in the target language.

The Ceran Lingua French Language school is located at the Château du Haut-Neubois in Spa. It is a fabulous setting for learning foreign languages or assimilating a new culture. The château is the ideal place for studious and professional learning on a CERAN training course in a warm, friendly atmosphere. What’s more, the Château du Haut-Neubois is open all year round, even on public holidays, to accommodate the diaries of all Learners and Trainees.
There are 36 meeting and conference rooms. And for relaxation, there are 7 lounges where you can play table football, table tennis, darts and sjoelbak (shuffleboard). Our comfortable accommodation facilities include: 71 guestrooms including 2 suites, lounges, a bar and dining rooms plus a well-being center with a Jacuzzi, sauna and gym. Guests who love sport will also find an on-site tennis court, multi-sports field and petanque court. Chef Laëtitia offers you international cuisine and Belgian specialties (fish waterzooi, lacquemants, Liège waffles, etc.) whilst taking into account Trainees’ different dietary requirements.

Ceran Lingua Professional French Courses

CERAN LINGUA offers Professional French Courses in flexible one-week modules starting every Sunday evening and lasting until Friday afternoon. You may enroll for as many consecutive on-week modules as your schedule permits. The center is open all year-round except for the last week of December and first week of January. You can therefore choose the dates that best fit your schedule. Your objectives and groups may change each week, allowing you to focus on a variety of topics during your stay.
Group French Courses (P) — 45 French lessons per wk. Maximum of 4 students per class. The French Group course includes: 4 mini-group French lessons emphasizing general communication, 2 group lessons of specialized communication training in professional situations (max. of 8 students per class), 1 supervised Multimedia room laboratory period, and 2 supervised individual work lessons with teacher assistance every day from Monday to Friday. It also includes all course materials, on-site accommodations, full board and evening activities.
Combination French Courses Group Plus Private (P1) — 45 French lessons per wk. Maximum of 4 students per class. The Combination French Group Course Plus Private (P1) includes: 4 mini-group French lessons emphasizing general communication, 2 group lessons of specialized communication training in professional situations (max. of 8 students per class), 1 supervised Multimedia room laboratory period, 1 supervised individual work lesson with teacher assistance and 1 private (one-to-one) lesson every day from Monday to Friday. It also includes all course materials, on-site accommodations, full board and evening activities.
Combination French Courses Group Plus Private (P2) — 45 French lessons per wk. Maximum of 4 students per class. The Combination French Group Course Plus Private (P2) includes: 4 mini-group French lessons emphasizing general communication, 2 group lessons of specialized communication training in professional situations (max. of 8 students per class), 1 supervised Multimedia room laboratory period, 1 supervised individual work lesson with teacher assistance and 2 private (one-to-one) lessons every day from Monday to Friday. It also includes all course materials, on-site accommodations, full board and evening activities.
Super Intensive Private French Courses (P6) — 45 French lessons per wk. The Combination French Group Course Plus Private (P6) includes: 6 private French lessons, 1 phonetic training lesson, supervised Multimedia room laboratory period, and 1 supervised individual work lesson with teacher assistance every day from Monday to Friday. It also includes all course materials, on-site accommodations, full board and evening activities.

Ceran Lingua Spa – Accommodations
The prices listed in the language course pricing include accommodation in individual rooms in the CERAN Lingua center or, if not available, in a nearby hotel of equivalent category. All of our rooms have air-conditioning and are equipped with a cassette player. All of our rooms have AC and are equipped with a cassette player and a safe. The telephones are equipped with an alarm device for wake up calls and internet access is available through wireless connection. Hair dryers can be provided to the students upon request. All bedrooms have bathroom en suite. Studio accommodations are also available at CERAN Lingua in Avignon. You may upgrade to this option for an additional fee of USD 597 per week.
All meals from Sunday night until Friday evening are included. Teachers join students during meals in order to further increase their exposure to the language.
For those students enrolling in more than one weekly module at a time, weekend accommodations are not included but may be available upon request as a Bed & Breakfast option and subject to availability. Additional cost of weekend accommodations: US 163.00 per night for Standard rooms, USD 283.00 per night for Suites.
Arrival at the Center and Airport Transfers
We recommend that you arrive at the center on Sunday between 5.00 and 7.00 p.m. Airport transfers are not included but can be arranged upon request at additional charge. One-way transfer from Brussels Airport or Brussels South (Midi) Station: 240 Euros, from Liege Guillemins Station: 120 Euros, from Verviers Station: 90 Euros.
Payment for transfer services is done directly at the school upon arrival.
Activities
Every evening, we offer a different event. You are invited to take part but only if you wish. The topics can be of different nature: introduce yourself, watch TV news, welcome French guests but also get to know better the French and Provence culture. Every week, local guests will join us to share an evening together.
